I saw you were asking for advice on your project (on animation army). Well, after seeing your latest posts, I noticed you like to put a lot of detail in a lot of elements in your world. As an example: in this scene at the front door, I believe I can count 18 hearts and probably another 6 on the side I can't see. That makes 24 little hearts. Now if you would replace the small window in the door by a heart shaped window, and take out the 24, your set becomes less crowded and easier to read. I think you can win a lot in your appeal if you fix these design issues. A nice rule you can use (if you want to;) is: put the detail where the eye needs to go. Otherwise your eyes want to go verywhere and that only creates a chaotic feel...
